Pre – Treatment:
This patient previously wore a tongue ring that resulted in severe recession (loss of gum tissue and bone) on the tongue side of the lower front teeth (#’s 24 and 25.)
Post- Treatment:
We treated teeth #’s 24 and 25 with soft tissue grafting to regrow the destroyed gum tissue.We achieved 100% root coverage. Regrowing the gum tissue will protect the root and prevent further loss of bone and gum tissue.
