MITCHEL S GODAT DDS, MS
Dr. Godat completed his undergraduate work at Oxford College of Emory University and Emory University and received his Doctorate in Dentistry (DDS) from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, graduating with highest honors and receiving several awards. Dr. Godat trained for three more years in Periodontics and Dental Implantology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving a Masters of Science (MS) in Oral Biology and Specialty Certificate in Periodontics and Dental Implants.
Dr. Godat is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology and is the only full-time, practicing, board-certified periodontist in the Memphis area. Dr. Godat maintains hospital privileges at local hospitals, lectures for the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and consistently attends continuing education courses. He is very active in local study clubs and professional organizations and is the recipient of numerous awards.
Dr. Godat and Craddock have been voted by their dental peers to be Top Dentists/ Periodontists in Memphis and the MidSouth.
As a dedicated husband and father of two, Dr. Godat has many interests outside of periodontics and implants; he enjoys reading, drawing, computers, skiing, cars, etc. He attends First Evangelical Church.
