Biopsy

A biopsy is the removal of tissue for pathological (disease) analysis. Determining the type of unwanted tissue gives peace of mind and helps in treatment decisions. Commonly a biopsy can be accomplished with the VersaWave laser to decrease pain and speed healing.

If we determine that a biopsy is needed, it will be sent to The University of Tennessee Health Science Center for testing.
